Cantara Loop

This small but scenic and action-packed riverside cliff has routes for everyone, with the opportunity to cool off in the adjacent swimming holes.

Castle Crags

Majestic Castle Crags are more than 170 million years old and these 6000-feet tall granite spires border the northwestern edge of Castle Crags State Park. Castle Crags climbs require a strenuous 2-3 hour uphill hike to access the rock and climbers should be in good physical condition.

Ney Springs

Found by John Ney on a hunting excursion in the late 1880’s, Ney Springs Crag offers about 5 developed walls. The shade and higher elevation and easy access make it a good destination in the summer. Mostly mixed climbs with a few sport routes.
